It’s 1994 and the 50th anniversary of D-Day looms.
Tommy, Alf
and Edwin are incarcerated in Coldrick Nursing Home and
despite his
ever-worsening heart condition, D-Day veteran Tommy is determined to break out
and re-join his old comrades on the Normandy beaches.
But how will he and
his pals escape and what will happen along the way?
More to the point, what
will happen if they get there?
Inspired by a true story, this charming, gentle comedy
about fun, friendship,
bravery, remembrance, war and peace will make you laugh
and cry in equal measure.
