Since our first play 'Hay Fever' in 1949 Rushen Players has always tried to adhere to its founding goals and aims; to encourage, develop and stimulate interest in live theatre; to pay its way and raise money for charity. We believe that front of house, backstage and acting members are of equal importance. The reason we keep coming back is that we enjoy theatre in all its aspects, being creative, the fun of doing, juggling the brain cells and even the pain of learning lines. We have members who know about lights, sound, costume, props & set building, but we welcome new members with or without experience to contribute new ideas and learn the ropes. Rushen Players AGM 2023
