Maiden Ladies is a comedy set in early 50’s. Two unconventional
unmarried couples are holidaying together in a small English village
where two male burglars, dressed as old women, have been robbing houses
and have not yet been caught by police.
The one couple stays in
the house the burglars had rented and they find in the house the old
women’s clothing the burglars had used.
The old women’s clothing
comes in handy when the couples have a surprise visitor - the mother of
one of the single ladies. To avoid scandal the men put on the old
women’s clothing and pretend to be chaperoning the maiden ladies. The
police in the meantime are looking for two old women burglars. |
