This one act play by Michael Lynch
was presented at the MADF One Act Play Festival 2012 and a further
performance on 25th February along with an exhibition of WW1
correspondence, written by Manxman Earnest Corlett of Ballaugh, before
his untimely death in the trenches in June 1916.The play is set in a tented World War 1 British Casualty Clearing Station on the Western Front in 1916. Hero
won seven awards at the MADF One Act Play Festival and went on to
compete at the 25th Aniversary Leverhulme Drama Festival where it won
the Runner Up Trophy
